Take advantage of our "Cashback" partial refund offer from 1 September through 31 October 3 2024 by following the steps below*:

  1. Buy one of the eligible products from the Smart ironing system range: Laurastar Smart U, M, M Limited Edition or I
  2. Complete the online form and provide all the required information, including a valid proof of purchase, and tick the box relating to data protection and newsletter subscription.
  3. Receive your refund by bank transfer, the amount of which varies according to the product purchased:
    • 200£ for the purchase of a Smart U
    • 150£ for the purchase of a Smart M or M Limited Edition
    • 100£ for the purchase of a Smart I

Conditions of participation in the Laurastar "Cashback" partial refund offer

Take advantage of our "Cashback" partial refund offer of up to 200£ valid from 1 September through 31 October 2024, on the purchase of an eligible product from the Smart ironing system range (see below), while stocks last and subject to compliance with these terms and conditions (hereinafter " the Offer ").

  1. Organiser
  2. The organiser of this Offer is the Swiss company Laurastar SA, Route de Montreux 149, 1618 Châtel-St-Denis, Switzerland ("Laurastar").

  3. Conditions of participation
  4. The Offer is exclusively reserved for:

    1. Individuals of legal age on the date the Offer is launched (i.e. aged 18 and over) residing in United Kingdom.
    2. Having purchased a Laurastar Smart U, Smart M, Smart M Limited Edition or Smart I between 1 September 2024 and 31 October 2024, from one of our participating partner sales outlets in United Kingdom or on our website https://www.laurastar.co.uk/ or contact our customer service in United Kingdom. Any purchase made at a trade fair is not eligible for the Offer.

    Only one entry per buyer and per household (person with the same address or surname as the buyer) will be taken into account. The Offer cannot be combined with any other current promotions, offers or discounts, unless otherwise stated, and is only valid while stocks of eligible products last.

  5. Terms and conditions of participation
  6. In order to benefit from the Offer, the purchaser of one of the aforementioned eligible products must (i) complete the online partial refund request form (" the Form "), the access link to which is sent to him/her by e-mail (in the case of a purchase via the website or our customer service department) or by means of a QR code (in the case of a purchase from a participating shop), (ii) agree to receive commercial information about Laurastar products and services, and (iii) provide all required information and a valid proof of purchase in order for his/her participation in the Offer to be validly recorded.

    Internet connection costs for completing the Form are borne by the participant.

    By submitting the Form, the person taking part in the Offer unreservedly accepts these conditions and certifies the accuracy of his/her information.

    The main information required is listed in the data protection section below.

    The Form must be sent within 30 calendar days of the date of purchase of the eligible product. Laurastar will confirm receipt of the Form and ensure that it is valid under the terms of the Offer.

    Once the request for reimbursement has been approved by Laurastar, the corresponding reimbursement will be made by bank transfer to the account whose bank details were provided when the Form was sent, within approximately 6 to 8 weeks from Laurastar's validation of participation in the Offer.

    The amount of the reimbursement differs according to the eligible products:

    • For the purchase of a Smart U, the refund amount is 200£
    • For the purchase of a Smart M or M Limited Edition, the amount refunded is 150£
    • For the purchase of a Smart I, the refund is 100£.

    Refunds will only be made in the currency in which the purchase was made and exclusively to a valid bank account in the purchaser's country of residence. Refunds will not take the form of a voucher, cash payment or cheque.

    Laurastar reserves the right to verify the validity of the refund request and to reject any request that does not comply with the conditions of the Offer. Laurastar shall not be liable for any non-reimbursement resulting from acts or omissions for which Laurastar is not directly responsible, including but not limited to the transmission of incorrect information in connection with the reimbursement, the account, the identity of the beneficiary, etc. Laurastar shall not be liable for any such non-reimbursement resulting from acts or omissions for which Laurastar is not directly responsible.

    In the event of the return of an eligible product (cancellation of the sales contract for any reason whatsoever, exchange with a product not eligible for the Offer, retraction or other reason for return) the participant will lose any right to reimbursement and, if the reimbursement has already been made, the beneficiary of the reimbursement must reimburse Laurastar without delay.

  7. Protection of personal data
  8. Laurastar is responsible for processing personal data. When processing data relating to participants in the Offer, Laurastar guarantees full compliance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if and insofar as the latter is applicable. The personal data collected as part of the Offer (in the Form), provided voluntarily by the persons submitting the Form, are collected, stored and used in accordance with the indications provided as part of the Offer and, if the participant has also consented, for the sending of commercial information on new products and the implementation of other Laurastar promotional offers.

    You will be asked to provide the following personal details: gender, first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, bank details (bank, name of account holder [strictly identical to that of the entrant], IBAN). In addition, you will be asked to provide us with information relating to the eligible product purchased and your consumption habits, in particular the date of purchase, product description, serial number, name of retailer (if purchased off the website or customer service).

    Participants in the Offer and participants who have also agreed to receive commercial information from Laurastar may at any time (i) withdraw their consent to either the Offer or the receipt of commercial information from Laurastar (exclusively by e-mail to the following address: ukservice@laurastar.com and/or (ii) request a change to their information or to receive information by e-mail to the above e-mail address. Any request to withdraw the consent of participants in the Offer made before reimbursement is made by bank transfer will automatically invalidate participation in the Offer.

    We may pass on your personal data to third parties with whom we collaborate to provide a service, where the processing of this data is useful for achieving the intended purpose. We may also pass on your data if we have a legitimate interest in doing so, if we are legally obliged to do so or if you have given us your consent. The recipients of your personal data are generally located in Switzerland or the European Union, but may also, exceptionally, be located in another third country. If a recipient is located in a country that does not have adequate data protection legislation, we ensure that an appropriate level of protection is guaranteed in another way. All bank details required for reimbursement will only be used for this purpose. The personal data of participating persons is retained by Laurastar for as long as it is required for the purposes of the Offer and in accordance with the retention periods set out in the applicable legislation and the relevant limitation periods. In accordance with the record-keeping and documentation requirements set out in the Ordinance of 24 April 2002 on the keeping and retention of account books (Olico), this retention period is set at ten years.

  9. Miscellaneous
  10. Laurastar accepts no responsibility for the unavailability of the web page on which the Form appears. In particular, Laurastar accepts no liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any damage, loss or deletion of data resulting from technical problems or delays, viruses or other causes.

    Laurastar reserves the right to modify the conditions of participation, to suspend the Offer or to terminate it at any time and without notice in the event of force majeure and/or when, for technical and/or legal reasons, the proper conduct of the Offer is not possible. The modified conditions of participation apply from the date of their publication on the media initially set up.

    Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be invalid in whole or in part, the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Any invalid provision will be replaced by a provision that is legally possible and as close as possible to the content of the invalid provision in the event of any regulatory gaps.

  11. Disputes - Applicable law
  12. Any request or complaint must be sent by e-mail exclusively and directly to Laurastar by e-mail at the following address: ukservice@laurastar.com, which reserves the right to accept or refuse it if it does not correspond to the present conditions of the Offer.

    Subject to the application of the mandatory national rules of the law of the buyer's country of habitual residence, Swiss law is applicable. The competent courts are those of Fribourg, Switzerland, unless otherwise provided by public policy.
